Endoscopy Course for Nurses at St James’s Hospital

The Endoscopy Course aims to provide nurses with the requisite knowledge and skills to function competently in their area of practice. Following the programme, and with relevant clinical facilitation, support and guidance, nurses will be able to critically evaluate and apply the required specialist knowledge and skills to guide a comprehensive and systematic patient assessment to include, planning, prioritisation, implementation and evaluation of evidence based best practices in Endoscopy, thereby promoting continuous improvement in their services.
